xCrackdown on Illegal Construction in Tuzi: 16 Individuals Prosecuted

The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property (MDUP) has launched a high-priority inspection campaign in the municipality of Tuzi. Based on official statements from the Ministry and verified reports from Vijesti.me, dozens of structures were identified as being built without legal permits.

So far, 16 individuals have been prosecuted. Work on their properties has been officially halted. The Ministry warned that it would follow the "Žabljak model," meaning that structures built without an official construction notification (prijava građenja) will be demolished at the owner’s expense. In addition to work stop orders, the MDUP is filing criminal complaints under Article 326a of the Criminal Code of Montenegro.
