Police in Pljevlja have filed criminal complaints against two people over suspected illegal construction. According to the Police Directorate, in two separate cases during 2025, works were carried out without the required notification and supporting documentation.
One case concerns the construction of a large warehouse facility in Vrulja. The other concerns extension and additional-floor works on an existing building in the Guke area. Police also stated that, in the second case, the structure is located on state-owned land.
According to the official statement, checks of official records and an analysis of orthophoto imagery revealed a significant discrepancy between the actual situation on the ground and the data recorded in the cadastral registers.
